Branch donates to Friends of Silverhill
Branch members Pete Waring and Greg Stevens are pictured with a host of ex coal miners from Silverhill Colliery at the Miner Statue at the top of the Silverhill Pit Tip. These ex colliers are raising money to have the winding wheels re-sited at the location of the colliery shafts. The ex coal miners are aiming to re-site the winding wheels so future generations know the story of Silverhill and all coal miners.
